Saturday, December 6, Full Moon Meditation, 5 PM, Rev. Naomi Richardson *NOTE TIME CHANGE
Full Moon this month is under the sign of Sagittarius “I see the goal. I reach that goal and see another."
As a disciple the Sagittarian needs to learn to channel his enthusiastic, fiery nature toward spiritual goals instead of feeding the personality. His striving can be transmuted into spiritual aspiration, reaching toward higher ideals, a higher vision of what is possible. His mind must become focused and directed toward spiritual values and he needs to develop temperance to compensate for his tendency to overdo. The objective is to reorient himself toward new and loftier goals. As the one pointed disciple he must dedicate himself to seeing the higher vision and pursuing it to consummation. A symbol often used to describe the Sagittarian disciple is an archer on a white horse. This signifies that he is no longer so closely identified with his animal nature. He can guide the horse toward the goal. He then shoots his arrow of spiritual aspiration and it flies toward a new goal, a new truth. The arrow is the symbol of a higher future, a vision of things to come, of unlimited possibility.
